What does an introduction cost?
Until 31 December 2026, registration is free and you can preview every candidate free. An introduction costs $847 including Goods and Services Tax (GST), charged only if the candidate accepts. Members receive a set number of introductions each month as part of their membership. If you hire a candidate after paying for their introduction, the introduction fee is credited against the placement fee.
When do I see a candidate's full name and contact details?
When you make a job offer through the platform. Until then, candidates are shown by their display name and you communicate through platform messaging.
How quickly can I start searching?
Usually within 24 hours of business verification.
Can I cancel or change tiers?
Memberships run for 12 months. We will remind you at least 60 days before your renewal date, with the fees for the next year, and you can stop the renewal by email up to 30 days before that date. You can also end your membership at any time by giving 90 days' written notice. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades apply from your next billing cycle.
Do unused introductions expire?
Starter introductions roll over for three months and Professional introductions for six. Enterprise is unlimited.
Can I contact someone below my score threshold?
Yes. Thresholds guide your search but never restrict who you contact.
Do candidates know who I am before they accept?
Yes. Your company name, logo and description are shown with every enquiry so candidates can make an informed choice.
When is the placement fee charged?
Only when you hire, after the start date you report in your dashboard. It is 12% of the candidate's first-year base salary plus superannuation, plus Goods and Services Tax (GST).
What is the 90-day placement guarantee?
If a candidate you hire through Exemplar Talent Connect resigns, or is lawfully dismissed for poor performance or because illness or injury leaves them unable to perform the inherent requirements of the role, within 90 days of their start date, Exemplar will use its best endeavours to find a suitable replacement for the same role at no additional placement fee. The guarantee is a replacement only; no refund is payable. It applies only to hires for which the placement fee is paid in full by its due date, and provides one replacement only. Full terms are provided when you make an offer to a candidate.
Do candidates pay anything?
No. Registration and use of the platform are free for candidates, and no commission is taken from their pay.
